Xoxoday enables full data export at contract termination — delivered in CSV format for direct downloads or JSON via API for system-to-system migration to platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Darwinbox.

Exporting Your Data at Contract End

When a contract with Xoxoday concludes, your organisation retains complete access to all data generated within Xoxoday. Xoxoday does not lock or delete data at termination without prior notice, giving your organisation adequate time to retrieve records and plan a smooth transition. To initiate a data export, your organisation raises a formal request with the Xoxoday IT team. This triggers a structured handoff process where Xoxoday coordinates directly with your IT or HR operations team to package and deliver the relevant data sets securely.

Supported Export Formats

Xoxoday supports two primary export formats depending on your organisation’s technical requirements. CSV (Comma-Separated Values): The standard export path for most organisations. Xoxoday delivers complete data sets in CSV files, which are immediately importable into tools like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Darwinbox, or any internal HR database. No additional development work is required to read or process these files. JSON via API: For organisations that need a system-to-system integration during migration, Xoxoday exposes API endpoints that return data in JSON format. This method supports automated, high-volume transfers and suits organisations moving into custom-built internal platforms or enterprise data warehouses. Consuming JSON via API does require development effort on your organisation’s side to parse and load the data into the target system.

What Data Can Be Exported

Xoxoday’s export process covers the full scope of data your organisation has generated — reward histories, redemption records, recognition milestones, employee point balances, and reporting data. Your IT team can specify the data scope when raising the export request to ensure only the relevant records are included.

Security During Data Transfer

Xoxoday maintains data security standards aligned with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II throughout the export process. Data transfers are handled securely, and Xoxoday’s IT team works with your designated contacts to confirm receipt and integrity of the exported files before closing the request. Planning ahead is recommended. Organisations migrating to a new rewards vendor or consolidating data into an internal database should raise the export request well in advance of the contract end date to allow time for data validation and any API integration work.
