Xoxoday Empuls implements a layered cybersecurity framework spanning infrastructure, application, data, and access controls, certified under ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II, with end-to-end encryption, role-based access control, and regular third-party penetration testing.
Xoxoday Empuls applies a defence-in-depth cybersecurity model that addresses risk at every layer—from the network perimeter down to individual API calls. Rather than relying on a single control, the programme combines hardened cloud infrastructure, strong identity enforcement, encryption at every tier, and a continuous compliance cycle aligned to ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA/CPRA. Hardened Cloud Architecture and Tenant Isolation Xoxoday Empuls runs entirely within a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) on Microsoft Azure. Each customer’s data is stored in logically isolated, client-specific database schemas, ensuring that an incident in one tenant cannot expose another’s data. All inbound and outbound traffic is routed through external load balancers, so internal microservices are never exposed directly to the public internet. Encryption in Transit and at Rest All communication between users and Xoxoday Empuls is protected by HTTPS/TLS 1.2 or higher. Personally identifiable information is encrypted at rest using a company-specific unique key, and transaction data is partitioned into separate per-client schemas to prevent cross-tenant data leakage. This means that even at the storage layer, your organisation’s data cannot be read by another tenant. Secure Integrations and API Security Xoxoday Empuls connects with enterprise systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Darwinbox, and Microsoft Teams through SFTP, HTTPS, OAuth 2.0 REST APIs, SSO, and site-to-site VPN tunnels. Public-facing APIs require both company-level and user-session OAuth tokens, combined with strict parameter validation on every request. Only authorised systems and authenticated users can invoke Xoxoday Empuls APIs. Identity, Access Management, and RBAC Role-based access control (RBAC) enforces least-privilege access for end users and Xoxoday’s internal staff alike. Granular roles and permissions let administrators define exactly what each user type can view or action within Xoxoday Empuls. Support for enterprise SSO providers allows your organisation to layer on its own MFA, password complexity, and session timeout policies, keeping identity governance within your existing security infrastructure. Resilience, Redundancy, and Backup Xoxoday Empuls runs two separate application instances across different availability zones for continuous high availability. Databases are maintained in master–slave pairs with real-time synchronisation, minimising the risk of data loss and enabling rapid recovery during a zone-level failure. This architecture removes single points of failure and supports business continuity without manual intervention. Ongoing VAPT and Compliance Programme Xoxoday Empuls undergoes regular external Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) alongside automated vulnerability scans. All findings are tracked through a formal remediation workflow until closure. A dedicated InfoSec function oversees documented security policies, continuous monitoring, and incident response, keeping the platform’s posture current against evolving threats and regulatory requirements.
