Empuls provides purpose-built access options — including QR code scanning, SMS/WhatsApp notifications, shared-device kiosk mode, and digital wallboards — so manufacturing and frontline employees participate fully in recognition programs without needing a corporate email address or company-issued device.
Most employee recognition platforms are designed for desk workers. Empuls takes a different approach by addressing the day-to-day reality of manufacturing floors, warehouses, and field operations where laptops and work email addresses are simply not part of the daily experience.

QR Code Access

Empuls generates unique QR codes that can be printed on posters, notice boards, or ID lanyards and displayed throughout common areas. Employees scan the code with any personal smartphone to reach a lightweight, browser-based version of Empuls — no app download or corporate credentials required. This removes the single biggest barrier for shift workers: the need for a pre-configured device.

SMS and WhatsApp Notifications

For employees without a work email address, Empuls delivers recognition alerts and reward notifications via SMS or WhatsApp. Authentication follows the same channel, so a worker verifies their identity and claims rewards entirely through messaging — making the experience accessible on even the most basic smartphone.

Kiosk Mode on Shared Devices

Empuls supports kiosk deployment on shared tablets or terminals placed at break rooms, canteen entrances, or shift-handover stations. Employees log in briefly to send or view recognitions, then the session resets for the next user. This works especially well in environments running enterprise HRMS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors or Darwinbox, where workforce data syncs directly to Empuls so every employee appears in the recognition directory from day one — no manual onboarding required.

Supervisor-Led Recognition

Where individual device access remains impractical, supervisors or line managers with digital access initiate peer or top-down recognitions on behalf of their team members. The recognised employee sees their name celebrated on printed displays, intranet boards, or during group announcements at shift briefings. Visibility is preserved even when direct app access is not possible.

Digital Wallboards and Screensavers

Recognition feeds, leaderboards, and milestone highlights broadcast to digital signage screens or screensavers on shared monitors in corridors, canteens, and locker rooms. Empuls pushes this content automatically, reinforcing a culture of appreciation in physical spaces without requiring any individual to take action on a device. Together, these five access modes mean manufacturing and field employees are equally seen, celebrated, and included — regardless of shift pattern, device ownership, or connectivity.
