Empuls automatically sends email notifications containing login credentials to employees upon account creation, with Super Admins able to configure delivery across email, SMS, mobile push notifications, and in-product messages.
When a new employee account is created in Xoxoday Empuls, the system immediately triggers an automated email notification containing that employee’s login credentials. This ensures every new hire can access the recognition and rewards experience from day one without waiting on manual outreach from HR or IT. Super Admins have full control over how and when these notifications are delivered. From the Settings panel, admins can customize notification content, timing, and delivery channels to align with the organization’s communication standards. No additional configuration is required for the default email flow — it fires automatically the moment an account is provisioned. Empuls supports four delivery channels for account creation notifications: email, mobile app push notifications, SMS, and in-product messages. For organizations where Slack or Microsoft Teams is the primary communication layer, Empuls integrates directly with both, so employees can receive onboarding prompts inside the tools they already use every day. For HR teams running Empuls alongside an HRIS such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or Darwinbox, account creation is often triggered automatically when a new hire record syncs. Once Empuls provisions the account, it fires the credential notification with no additional manual action required from the HR or IT team. This closes the common onboarding gap where employees join but never activate their accounts because a welcome email was missed. Security is built into the notification flow from the ground up. Empuls is certified under ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II, meaning the transmission and handling of login credentials through notification channels meets rigorous data security standards. HR and IT teams can be confident that credential delivery is treated with the same level of care as the rest of the Empuls data infrastructure. Super Admins can also enable or disable specific notification channels per employee group or geography. This is particularly useful for global organizations where SMS may be preferred in certain regions while email remains the standard elsewhere. All notification preferences are centrally managed, giving Super Admins a single location to oversee account communication across the entire workforce.
