Xoxoday is designed to integrate with your existing enterprise infrastructure without operating as a direct dependency for any business-critical process, ensuring your organisation retains full operational independence.

Operational independence by design

Xoxoday’s architecture separates the rewards, recognition, and loyalty layer from your core operational systems. When Xoxoday is connected to platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Darwinbox for employee data synchronisation, it consumes that data to drive rewards workflows — it does not sit in the critical path of payroll processing, attendance tracking, or HR record management. This means if Xoxoday undergoes scheduled maintenance or an unplanned disruption, your HR and finance systems continue to operate without interruption. Your organisation’s day-to-day functions remain unaffected.

What “dependency” means in practice

A system becomes a critical dependency when its unavailability blocks another system from completing a required function. Xoxoday is intentionally scoped outside that boundary. Reward nominations, recognition feeds in Slack or Microsoft Teams, and redemption workflows are additive experiences layered on top of your existing processes — not gates within them. For example, if your organisation uses Xoxoday’s Slack integration to send peer recognition, the absence of a recognition nudge does not prevent an employee from logging hours, submitting a leave request, or completing a performance review in your HRMS. Those processes remain entirely independent.

Configurable coupling, not forced dependency

There are scenarios where organisations choose to configure Xoxoday as a more tightly integrated component — for instance, triggering automated reward milestones as part of an onboarding workflow in SAP SuccessFactors. In these cases, Xoxoday operates as a configured dependency only within that specific workflow and only to the extent your organisation has defined. Xoxoday’s API-first integration model gives your IT and HR teams precise control over the degree of coupling. Nothing is forced; every integration point is explicit and auditable.

Security and availability standards

Xoxoday maintains SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications, which include controls around availability, business continuity, and incident response. These certifications provide assurance that Xoxoday upholds enterprise-grade reliability standards even when integrated deeply with your systems. Your organisation can review Xoxoday’s uptime SLAs, maintenance windows, and incident communication protocols during procurement to make informed architectural decisions about integration depth.
