Empuls supports no-code configuration of multiple recognition types — peer-to-peer, spot, value-based, nomination, jury, performance, wellness, and service awards — each with custom eligibility rules, reward values, approval layers, and branded badge and certificate designs.
Empuls places full configuration control in the hands of HR admins and super-admins, without requiring any engineering effort. From a single admin console, you can define as many recognition programs as your organisation needs, each with its own logic, reward values, and visual identity that reflects your culture.
Eight award types, independently configured
Empuls supports eight distinct award categories out of the box: peer-to-peer, spot, value-based, nomination-based, jury, performance, wellness, and service awards. Each type is independently configurable, so a quarterly service milestone award can operate under entirely different eligibility and approval logic than a real-time peer shoutout. This separation keeps each program purposeful and prevents recognition rules from overlapping across audiences.
Granular rules for every program
For every award, admins set who can give recognition, the reward value attached to it, how many approval layers are required before a recognition posts, and how nominations are structured. A nomination-based award can require a manager review followed by a jury panel — all configured without writing a single line of code. Eligibility windows, department filters, and frequency caps are equally adjustable to match your governance requirements.
Branded badges and certificate templates
Badge designs and nomination certificate templates are fully customisable within Empuls. Admins upload company logos, apply brand colours, and align badge names directly with core company values. When an employee receives a “Customer First” badge as a notification in MS Teams or a “Beyond Boundaries” certificate shared via Slack, every touchpoint reinforces the behaviours your culture is built around — not a generic reward moment.
Integrated with your HRIS
Xoxoday Empuls integrates natively with Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, and Darwinbox, keeping recognition eligibility and reporting automatically in sync with live employee data. Admins can trigger award cycles based on HRIS milestones — service anniversaries, probation completions, or performance review outcomes — without manual data entry or reconciliation. All recognition data flows through ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure, giving HR and IT teams confidence that configuration changes and employee records remain secure end-to-end.
