Empuls is built to keep a complete, long-term trail of security events so that authentication, authorization, and API activities can be audited independently of application admins.

Centralised collection

  • All key events, logins, failed logins, SSO assertions, role/permission changes, admin actions, and API calls are written as structured security logs with timestamp, user/service ID, source IP, and action/result.

Storage & retention

  • Logs are stored in a central logging stack, separate from production databases, and retained for at least three years for audit purposes.
  • For on-prem, the same logs can be forwarded to your organisation’s log store/SIEM and covered under your organisation’s backup and DR policies.

Tamper resistance & restricted prod access

  • Application users and standard admins cannot modify or delete logs; access to production instances and log platforms is restricted to designated Tech Leads and the Group CTO, with every privileged action itself being logged.
  • Logs are append-only and protected by RBAC and MFA at the logging/SIEM layer, making post-facto modification or suppression of events highly impractical.

SIEM integration for analysis

  • Security logs are streamed in real time to Xoxoday’s SIEM platform and/or your organisation’s SIEM, where correlation rules and alerts detect suspicious authentication/authorization/API patterns and support formal audits and investigations.
