Upon employee termination, the employee’s account is deactivated in the recognition platform as part of the automated Workday synchronization. Historical recognition data (recognitions sent/received, point transactions, award history) is retained for the duration of the service agreement for reporting and audit purposes. Upon contract termination, data is retained for a defined period (typically 90 days) to facilitate data extraction and return, after which it is permanently deleted with a formal data destruction certificate issued.
