Empuls manages the complete knowledge transfer process through its in-house Professional Services and Engineering teams, so your HR and IT teams receive structured onboarding and training directly from Xoxoday — no third-party Run business partner involvement is needed or expected.

Knowledge Transfer Is Owned by Empuls, Not a Third Party

Xoxoday Empuls is delivered as a fully managed SaaS product. Every aspect of the implementation, configuration, and training lifecycle is executed by Empuls internal teams — not delegated to an external operations or Run business partner. If your organization changes its IT vendor or operational partner at any point, that change has no effect on the Empuls onboarding or support process. This is a structural advantage of the SaaS model. Your Empuls instance runs on Xoxoday-managed infrastructure, and all product updates, performance management, and security compliance — including ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certifications — are maintained continuously by Empuls engineering.

What the Professional Services Team Delivers

Empuls Professional Services leads the implementation engagement from kickoff to go-live. The team works directly with your HR and People Operations stakeholders to configure recognition programmes, rewards catalogues, milestones, and communication preferences. Training sessions are structured around your team’s actual workflows. If your organization uses Workday or SAP SuccessFactors as your HRIS, Professional Services coordinates with your HR admin to map employee data fields and automate lifecycle triggers such as work anniversaries and onboarding milestones. If your company uses Slack or Microsoft Teams, the team walks your IT and HR admins through the full integration and notification setup so recognition flows happen where employees already work.

What the Engineering Team Handles

The Empuls Engineering team manages all technical configuration that falls outside the standard admin console. This includes API-based HRIS integrations with systems like Darwinbox, SSO configuration, custom domain setup, and any environment-specific requirements your IT security team needs validated before go-live. Engineering is available throughout the entire implementation window, not just at project close. Any technical escalations raised during the knowledge transfer phase are routed directly to the Empuls Engineering team — your organization does not need to coordinate with or rely on a separate Run partner to resolve them.

After Go-Live

Once your team is trained and Empuls is live, Professional Services provides a structured handover to Empuls Customer Success. Your admins retain access to the Empuls Help Centre, and all ongoing support requests are handled by Xoxoday directly. The knowledge transfer is designed to make your internal HR team self-sufficient — able to manage day-to-day recognition operations, run reports, and configure new programmes without waiting on external parties.
