Empuls supports two certificate formats for long service awards: electronic and physical. Both are fully configurable and can be tailored to reflect your organization’s brand, the employee’s milestone year, and any regional requirements your program demands.

Electronic Certificates

Electronic certificates are generated within Empuls and displayed directly on the employee’s profile or shared on your organization’s intranet. When Empuls is connected to collaboration tools like Slack or Microsoft Teams, certificate notifications surface in the channels employees already use — making recognition visible across the entire workforce at the exact moment it happens. You can configure distinct designs for each milestone year. A 5-year certificate can carry a different look and weight than a 10- or 25-year version, reinforcing the significance of each tier without any manual intervention. Electronic certificates can also be localized for different geographies, ensuring employees receive them in the appropriate language and format.

Physical Certificates

Physical certificates are printed documents delivered as part of a long service award presentation package. They can be framed in a variety of finishes — from standard to premium — and serve as a lasting, tangible symbol of an employee’s achievement. Like electronic versions, physical certificates support per-milestone designs, so recognition at every tier feels intentional and distinct. Physical certificates integrate naturally into broader recognition workflows coordinated through systems like SAP SuccessFactors or Darwinbox.
