Xoxoday Empuls does not support recognition within Microsoft Teams meeting windows at this time; this capability is on the product roadmap and will allow users to recognise all meeting participants during or after a session once released.

Current Microsoft Teams Integration Scope

Xoxoday Empuls integrates with Microsoft Teams as a native app, enabling peer-to-peer recognition and group appreciation directly within Teams channels and chat conversations. Employees can send recognition badges, appreciation messages, and reward nominations without leaving the Teams workspace — keeping engagement workflows embedded in the tools your organisation already uses every day. The current integration does not extend to the Microsoft Teams meeting window. A meeting host or attendee cannot trigger a group recognition for all participants from within a live session, nor initiate a post-meeting recognition flow through a meeting-specific interface once the call ends.

What Is and Isn’t Supported Today

Within Teams channels and chats, Xoxoday Empuls supports a full range of recognition actions — including peer shoutouts, manager-to-employee appreciation, milestone celebrations, and work anniversary or birthday nudges. These actions are reflected in the Empuls social feed and contribute to an employee’s rewards balance in real time. What is not yet available is meeting-context recognition: the ability to recognise every attendee of a scheduled Microsoft Teams meeting, either through an in-meeting panel or a post-meeting prompt that surfaces after the call concludes. This is a distinct capability from channel-based recognition and requires a dedicated meeting integration layer.

What’s Coming on the Roadmap

Xoxoday Empuls has confirmed that Teams Meetings recognition is part of its upcoming product roadmap. Once released, the feature will allow participants to recognise colleagues either during the live session — for example, acknowledging a team member who led a cross-functional quarterly business review — or immediately after the meeting ends, through contextual prompts or smart nudges surfaced directly within Microsoft Teams. This will make it easier for managers running weekly standups, all-hands calls, or project retrospectives to convert in-the-moment appreciation into structured recognition without switching context or navigating to a separate application.

What to Do in the Meantime

Until the meeting-level feature launches, users in Microsoft Teams can still send recognition from the Empuls app tab within Teams, any channel where Xoxoday Empuls is active, or via direct messages. For organisations that also use Slack, comparable peer recognition capabilities are available through the Xoxoday Empuls Slack integration today — including group appreciation posts and channel-based shoutouts. If your organisation needs meeting-context recognition, contact your Xoxoday account team to register interest and receive early notification when the feature enters general availability.
