Xoxoday Empuls integrates directly with Google Workspace to enable Single Sign-On authentication. Employees log in to Empuls using their existing Google credentials — no separate password or additional account setup required. This reduces friction at the point of access and keeps IT-managed identity governance intact. For organizations already standardized on Google Workspace, this means recognition and rewards become part of the same trusted identity layer that governs access to Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Meet. IT administrators retain full control over authentication policies, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) settings enforced at the Google level.

Autoposting Recognition to Google Workspace

Beyond login, Empuls connects to Google Workspace collaboration tools so that recognition moments reach employees where they already work. When a peer-to-peer shoutout is submitted, a work anniversary milestone is triggered, or a manager award is granted, Empuls can automatically post that recognition to a designated Google Chat space. This works through configured integration rules — admins select which Google Chat spaces or email groups should receive recognition broadcasts. For example, an engineering organization might route all Spot Award notifications to a shared engineering-wins Google Chat space, while company-wide milestones flow to an all-hands email group. This keeps appreciation visible without requiring employees to log into a separate recognition portal.

Setup and Administrative Control

Admins configure the Google Workspace integration from the Empuls admin panel. The connection uses OAuth 2.0 and does not require storing Google credentials within Empuls itself. Individual broadcast rules — which award types post to which spaces — are fully customizable per team or department.
